So fellow blogger out there tell me if I am just the mom from "hell" tonight we were getting all settled in to go to bed and i had just gotten cooper in his new diaper and Pj's and told him to go out and tell grandpa good night. he took longer than normal so i came out to see what was going on and there he was with one of those outlet plugs in his mouth, being the tease that he his i didnt want to chase him or make him laugh. so i just grabbed him it scared me so bad. its the perfect size to choke on. i grabbed it out of his mouth and then it happened i slapped the side of his cheek it was not hard and i didnt mean to do it. I just did. He cried and I cried. I feel so bad. I dont even know why I did it. Am i just the mom from hell or what!

No you are not a mom from hell. Have you read Michelle M.'s blog? She had a similar situation and felt so bad. You are just human like the rest of us. Don't be so hard on yourself.
A mom's job is to protect her little ones, even from themselves. It's a good thing you have the instincts of a mother bear and can teach Cooper to be careful. Just keep loving him and on those rare occasions he sees you react he will be all the better because of it.

I think that it's just instinct. my mom spacked us when we did something naughty even that young. It happens. You are a great MOM!
