HaPpY BiRtHdAy BaBy CoOpEr!!!

It was a bittersweet day today, My baby turned 2. As I was making his Mickey Mouse cake last night I was thinking back 2 years ago, Around 7:00 on the 17th I went into labor. I didn't really say anything to Jim cause they were go mild and apart, we were at my dads, We went home about 10 and by 11 i just new that it was it! our bags were packed the car seat was in the car. And Baby Cooper was on his way :) We sat in Coopers room timing contractions they were about 4 min apart and lasted about 20-30 seconds. So we waited for about an hour, By that time it took my breath away, We went in and they hooked me up. I was at a 4 and 90% ( had been that for a week) they said they would keep if i changed in an hour. I was NOT going home with out my baby. so i went into the bathroom put o the cute little gown and did a few squats :) We sat and watched the Info-channels for 2 hours. (Shift change) the nurse came in and i was a 5 WAHOO! we moved into the room where I labored. About 7 we called our families and told them we were here and not leaving. For the next few hours we had people come in and out. Around 11 i got the epidural my water broke, i was at a 8 by then. About noon the nurse came in and watched Cooper's heart beat is was going crazy with the contractions, she had the Dr look and he said that we needed the baby out and soon, he checked me and i was complete, Everyone left the room and Jim got ready. They preped me for a C-section in case, and the dr said he would see how things went if i started pushing, I never got to push, Coopers heart rate dropped really low and they threw Jim some clothes and took me away. Our little boy was born at 12:29 on Jan 18th. He had a few problems breathing and spent 8 days in the NICU. but has been happy and healthy ever since, Cooper is my little buddy and I am so blessed to be a stay at home mom, I love Cooper and can't remember life without him.
